This manager oversees all functions of Student-Made on campus. They gain hands-on management experience through organizing tasks and goals, ensuring consistent progress, and leading growth & development of their campus branch.
Computer Science Major, and Minor in Entrepreneurship
No experience has taught me to communicate and market myself better than Student-Made has. By having the opportunity to partner with businesses and community organizations, center my work around strategic planning, and venture into new markets, I am gaining skills that are integral to success in any line of work. Most importantly, I value the collaborative nature of this position that is needed to produce meaningful progress.

This manager works to establish and grow a successful brand for their Student-Made branch through social media. They utilize various forms of content to develop creative marketing strategies to engage various audiences.
Business Administration Major
I’m learning how to keep an Instagram page organized behind the scenes. Working with a content creator is also awesome, and balancing the responsibilities between the two of us is something I hope to get better at.

This manager works to organize, support and engage the Student-Made community on campus. They also plan and execute community building events, manage and respond to inquiries from various parties, and lead the onboarding process from start to finish for new creators joining the program.
Media and Journalism Major
I love getting to connect with other creators and helping them find their place at Carolina! It can sometimes be hard to find community in a big school and in an organization with so many creators. I love making sure everyone feels welcome and excited to be a part of Student-Made.

This manager directs the financial operations of their campus branch, ensuring that all fundamental accounting tasks are executed consistently and timely. They also are responsible for organizing, analyzing and reporting on data to provide helpful strategies on ways for participating business to grow their sales on the marketplace.
Business Administration Major
When I first started my own business, I remembered stressing about not knowing how to manage the finances for my business. I love being able to help and understand finances so they do not have to undergo the same amount of stress.

This manager operated the behind the scenes of the online marketplace, from uploading products and creating special collections to processing orders and generating shipping labels.
Communication Major
A website manager isn’t all about maintaining the website, instead it is about showcasing creators’ artwork and helping them get to where they want to be, which is why I love my position at Student-Made.

This manager works to organize, create content, and build a consistent brand for their branch of Student-Made. They plan and execute content creation sessions, helping to capture and promote the participating student businesses.
Media Production/Film Studies
I love the supportive community we have built here at UNC through meet-ups and fun events. And, of course, I appreciate the outlet to foster my own creativity and grow my skills while supporting other creators!
